Visiting is the very heart of ministering
in God's love to those in need.
Our desire is to be able to bring encouragement to someone; whether
they are in a hospital bed, jail or simply confined to their own home or nursing home. In doing so we are demonstrating
the love of the Jesus, the heart of the Father and the Holy Spirit as their
comforter. Due to the tremendous
growth that we have experienced,
there is now a great need in this area of ministry. We need to build a volunteer
staff of people within the Pastoral Care Ministry.

Have the ability to visit and make conversation with those that you may
not know well

Areas of Ministry in Pastoral Care
Visit hospitals
Visit nursing homes
Visit private homes
Visit jails (extended training will be
required for jail visits including
background checks)

The most important part of this ministry
is a desire to visit with people, pray with
and encourage them in their time of
illness or absence from the church body.
It will require some of your time and resources but the personal rewards
and blessings are well worth the effort.
