Music

Praise ushers us into God's presence. And when we're in His presence, there is POWER. So whether it's singing, playing an instrument or working behind the scenes, we intend to create an atmosphere where praise is both initiated and maintained. In I Chronicles 16:7, the psalm of David was presented to the worship leader on the day the ark - signifying God's presence - was placed in the tabernacle at Jerusalem. The people were instructed to thank the Lord for His powerful works and for His personal covenant with them. Since our God has not changed, this is one tradition we intend to keep alive.  Our Worship Team is to be committed to not only bring praise to the Lord with their vocal and musical talents but more importantly, to live a life that will bring Him glory!

The KWF Praise Team
Is the front line praise and worship leaders in the Music Ministry. These are appointed by the Worship Leader. They play a key role in the instruction of all parts and help lead Praise and Worship.

The KWF Choir
Helps lead the congregation in praise and worship during all Sunday services. This group is made up of people 14 years and older who love to sing and bring praise to our God.

The KWF Band
Made up of people who are dedicated and driven to become skilled musicians. I Chronicles 25:1 takes us back to the time when David separated the musicians out and describes them as "...skilled men performing their service." Our band is to be no different.

The KWF Audio/Video Team
Another important part of our Worship Team is our volunteers who engineer the sound, audio recordings, stage lighting and manage the content on the video screens during all of our services.
