Altar
This ministry follows the ministry of “Helps.”  Altar workers help to bring new souls into the Kingdom of God as well as help maturing Christians move closer to God.

Under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, Altar workers pray with people who need God to bring change to their life.  Simply put, helping people connect with God is our main responsibility.

If you are interested in joining the Altar workers ministry we have a comprehensive training program for our volunteers.  This program teaches, in depth, the procedures on how to meet the needs of people around the altar.

Creative Arts
The Creative Arts ministry is a ministry of dance, drama, and all of the Arts. This ministry shares the message of Jesus and the cross, glorifies God and seeks to draw all who watch and participate into the mighty presence of God the Father.

If you are passionate about dance, drama, writing or painting that glorifies God, this is the ministry for you!

Hospitality
We serve God by preparing meals to help care for people here at King’s Way. We prepare communion for our Church Services as well as meals for families who have experienced the death of a close relative.  We also prepare meals for special church events, for ladies who have just had a baby or for those who may have had an extended stay in the hospital.

Food can connect us to each other and those who serve it to God.  There has rarely been an important event in someone’s life where food was not present.

Help us help the member’s of our church by using your cooking talents to serve God.

Nursing Home
Each and every week we have a team of people who visit area nursing homes to bring encouragement to the residents. Our nursing homes are full of people who are saved and those who are in need of salvation. Therefore we offer a ministry time in song, prayer and then a short devotional/message is given.

We can never be quite certain of what God is doing while we are there, but the important thing is that He is at work in the lives of those we minister too.

If you have a heart toward encouraging our elderly and others who are in the nursing homes please join us!

Ushers/Greeters
We want people to feel welcomed when they arrive at King’s Way and that is a key role of our Ushers and Greeters! First impressions are everything and they do a wonderful job!

Our ushers have a variety of roles, from security, helping around the altar, serving communion and taking up the offering. Our Ushers are the ones who assist the Pastor in keeping order in a service.

Greeters welcome all who enter King’s Way with an open door, smile and a hand shake.  The Greeters also make sure that each and every visitor is given VIP treatment.  We want all who enter to feel a part of our family! KWF is always in need of people who are willing to get involved.

Parking Attendant
Another important role of our Usher ministry are the parking lot attendants. These are the very first people you will encounter as you pull into King’s Way’s parking lot.

With a smile, nod and wave you will be directed to your parking spot. Our parking lot attendants are alert and ready to give you direction in order to keep your children and families safe.

You can utilize your friendly disposition by joining our very important team of Parking lot attendants!
